No-fail pan release recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable shortening or margarine
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup all purpose flour
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients above into a bowl and use a hand mixer or Kitchenaid to combine. It will be very lumpy at first so mix until smooth and silky.
Recipe Note
I use a squeeze bottle to store it (it can be left out at room temp) and then I just squirt it into my pan and brush it around. You can also store it in a Tupperware container. Tip: if your pan is a bit hot (pop it into the oven for a bit), the mixture will spread very quickly!
