This crunchy strawberry topping adds color, texture, and flavor to drizzled brownie samplers and dessert trays.
Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed Oreo vanilla sandwich cookies (about 18–20 cookies)
- 2 tablespoons strawberry gelatin powder (Jello brand works great)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- (Optional: pinch of salt for balance)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine crushed cookies and strawberry powder.
- Drizzle in melted butter and stir until evenly coated and crumbly.
- Spread mixture in an even layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until lightly toasted and fragrant.
- Cool completely — crumble will crisp further as it cools.
- Store in an airtight container up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
